We have a little more than 3 weeks until our first Discussion. How are you coming along in our first Pulitzer title, The Short Stories of John Cheever by John Cheever? Let us know in the comments below.
One of the stories I recently read from this collection is "The Enormous Radio". I liked how it captures the "false perfection" of middle/upper class life. It's almost as if John Cheever predicted the internet/social media with this story. Everyone knows your business. 'Goodbye, My Brother' is also an amazing story!
I have read the first four short stories. I have enjoyed the stories so far. I am hoping to find some time this weekend to read more.
